I'm sure I have more to talk about, but I can't really think of anything right now. Bah…anyway, that's all lol.

*sigh* For some reason I feel so freakin' discombobulated today. I really don't feel happy. I feel EXTREMELY stressed. It's not even about schoolwork. I...I don't even have that much schoolwork to do! It's just all this RA application crap I have to do. It's driving me INSANE.

But I want the effin job though. It has benefits. It's the only reason I'm getting it, too (of course I'm not going to say that in my application, that's just not cool).

I don't know. I have this problem where when I get stressed, I tend to make everyone else stressed. YES, IT'S A BAD HABIT, AND I NEVER FIX IT. I should though. I have this huge problem with asking questions and relying on others. I've never been able to rely on myself and my instinct. I just never trust it. Already a million times today I messed up on the application. I messed up what was due when or what was what (my roommate had to correct all that for me). This is why I shouldn't get stressed. I become more stupid (if I'm not already). Oh yeah, and I got rejected a reference, too. Just great. Also I can't get one from Mullins, because he's in France, and it'll be too much of a hassle to fax it and shit, so I have to find one here. I already have two down, but I need one more. I just asked another RA I sorta kinda know, but I haven't gotten a response back from her yet.

I seriously thought I got all this shit down, but I apparently haven't. I ALWAYS run close to the deadline. WHY? WHY THE FUCK DO I THIS? I need to not make this a habit. It's not healthy. Again, I SAY these things, but never act upon them. I'm so fuckin' hopeless.

Alright. So this week went by...well...fast...but slow, too. lol Here are my brief impressions on each (ha ha Yidi, you made me wanna post about classes).

Drawing for Sequential-Yeah, so I expected it would be another comics class (like, ya know, draw sequential pages?), but no...it's another life-drawing-like class. We'll be drawing more figures, more perspective. Yes, it's good practice...but eh...I don't finding anything exciting and NEW in the class...D: Dove is okay I guess. I don't like his music choices though...>_>;

Survey for Sequential-I think it's the BEST class already. XDDD; Bob (my professor) is fuckin' hilarious! XD; I think I'll have fun in this class. I guess it'll also be nice to learn more about American comics, so that I can be more equipped and ready to argue why I just don't read them lol. Oh yeah. Bob's awesome. He like pretty things and dollfies. XDDD;

Life Drawing-I've only had it once this week (there's no class tomorrow, YAY). It's...meh...Payne reminds me of a high school basketball coach, rotfl. He was...eh...Not so humorous, but the class was all like "Ha ha..." And the people in my class...It just seems like high school again. He kinda scared me though with the whole, "I don't give As on the preliminary grade!" arrr...screw that. Even if I made an A on a project, I'd still try my best to get a better A when I revise it. There were also ten million other things he said that I seriously disagreed with, but of course the best thing to do was to keep my mouth shut  : |

Damn, well...as of late I've been drawing Seraphus and Lester...A LOT. If you look at my sketchbook and most of my comics I have done for class, they're there quite a bit. Though it's usually always Isacaria or Karl I draw a lot...since they're my "main" guys, but Sera and Lester are hilariously fun to draw and I can't draw them individually ever, b/c they're my goofballs of the group. It's funny, because everyone's been asking if I've been missing home or anything, and of course I've been replying, "Yes." every time. But to be honest? I really don't care. Right now I actually want to stay in Savannah with my friends over there. I haven't had the desire to come home this time. I must be getting used to college life. I dunno.

But anyway. Yeah. Coming back home? Not so exciting. Having two griping parents and a nine-year-old brother that has the attitude of a teenager? Well, it's not too unusual. I just prefer not having to deal with it so much.

I was hoping to come back and getting a job. Not having the motivation to get one is not really helping. Not to mention that I've already be rejected out of two. So yeah. I dunno what I'm going to do. Get a job or not? I still have enough money to do some hobbying, but not enough to go to the cons I want to or enough to buy the next bjd I wanna get...*sigh*...oh well.

Though random thought. I won my case against Animewild.com! They effin' jipped me of my money when I tried to buy like, 5 manga volumes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! It was taking to long to get my stuff shipped, so I tried contacting the site, but they weren't responding, so I went through a lot of crap to get it back. Thankfully I did it through Paypal and helped get my money back! ^_^

Anyway, yeah. I really miss you guys back at SCAD. I wish we could all just...I dunno...either live in one huge house or go on an awesome road trip or something (seriously, we should do that some time).

Regardless of my bickering, I am doing some quality stuff over the break. I'm participating in a sequential tourney that junemermaid is doing. Hopefully this will help to put work in my portfolio and to brush up my comic skills. I am also working on my webcomic, and WILL keep a consistent schedule this time lol. I'm thinking I should ought to release my webcomic in chapters instead of one page a week or something. Since I know that some *cough*Yidi*cough* (lol) find the schedule to not work with those deep-storyline comics, in which I agree. I just hope the workload doesn't kill me or anything. I'll have to see.

Oh, and I proposed to my dad about maybe funding my TRANSPORTATION (and only that) for the cons I wanna go to. As much as I like going to cons for fun, I also find it to be the CORE place to market my stuff. I haven't done artist alley enough, but I'm sure that once I start getting things rolling, I'll start getting more exposure, and well, lead me in the right direction. I also said to my dad that I might give back %25 of what I earn to sort of reimburse the transportation money. I don't know. I have to figure how to do this so that it benefits us both. I didn't want it to come to this, but the fact that I may not get a job this winter, it'll cut the chance of me going to a lot of cons this year (not to mention I might miss my local con...AGAIN (in which I've gone to for 3 consecutive years))

I find Momocon to be a VERY high possibility, since it'll be in Georgia AND the registration is free. I'll also have friends going. Though I need to find someone to share a table with. Maybe I can ask Kitty...I dunno. MTAC and Otakon? Well...I dunno...MTAC seems impossible, because no one from SCAD is going AND the plane fare is RIDICULOUS. Otakon? Well, I have friends going and one of them knows how to get cheap airfare for it...so I dunno...maybe if I rack up enough money by then, I might be able to go. (Yidi and Cat please...please make sure I don't spend ANY of that money (maybe for food lol) I earn from Momo if I go...(and if I get a table in the first place rotfl))

Anyway...yeah...I've felt a bit out of the loop. Lately everyone that I've been "friends" with...I dunno...I just don't seem to fit. I know this sounds kinda ridiculous, but I think it really has to do with our interests. I know that every video game and anime fan can like whatever they want and all of us can still get along, because we like it...but lately? There's just TOO MANY new fans, and it's making me quite sick to the stomach. I can barely TALK with these people, because either I don't CARE what they're talking about or they are just SO DAMN ANNOYING.

No offense, but I feel like I'm surrounded by monkeys, and if I say anything, they'll throw a damn coconut at me. I hate mainstream shit. I hate anything cute, desu, shounen...uh EVERYTHING! I like everything that people HATE. Well, sorry, but I think my underground shit is GAZILLION times better than the crap that is out right now. I really barf at the anime and video games that ppl get into these days. I dunno if I'm being a hardass or anything, but I'm a person with a very critical eye, and it has probably detected a lot of SHITASTIC stuff out lately. I can't even get past an episode if the anime is that crappy, but for some reason there's so much hype about it? But no, I can't bash it or else a zeppelin full of fangirls are going to choke me to death.

I know this is gonna sound totally snarky, but I really feel like the only intelligent person out these days. I just can't TALK with anyone, because they don't like the stuff I do. Seriously, I would buy ALL the story arcs for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but it's not popular enough, so all they have is part 3. I have to resort to scanlations. I'm not doing this for the sake of it being free, it's all I've got.

Apparently the mechanic was trying to fix my driver-side mirror (the ONLY FUCKIN' thing that should have been fixed), but then the mirror BUTTON didn't work. WRONG. I fuckin' checked my mirror and the button right after the fuckin' incident happened!

Lemme go a few steps back. This is what happened.

I backed up and apparently my mirror got smacked by a telephone pole nearby, but since my mirrors can fold to an 180 degree angle, the damage wasn't THAT BAD. The ONLY thing that was damaged was the mirror (the back part that attached it to the mechanism broke off)...everything else WORKED. I checked to see if the rotating part stilled worked. IT WORKED. There was NOTHING else wrong with my part except for the MIRROR falling off.

So my dad went to get a price quote on the damage and he came back with it being $50. $50? I was like OMG AWESOME! But at the same time, it sounded a bit suspicious. O_o How could damage like that be only $50? I mean...I knew that it was only the mirror, but I know how mechanics are, they're charge you more to just do something very fuckin' UNNECESSARY to fix your car.

So then I went to get my mirror fixed...and guess what? They said that now the mechanism has to be removed into order to fix the mirror!!!! They said, because the part attaching the mirror broke off, the whole thing had to be replaced. I'm investigating this now, but I asked if the cover was removable, because that's all they would have to replace, and they said no.

That's when a week later my dad gave me the news that I mentioned in the beginning. FUCKIN' SHIT I SAY. They are effin' RIPPING US OFF.

This is how it is. I fuckin' CHECKED RIGHT AFTER the incident happened and I saw that my the rotary part of the mirror STILL WORKED. The button that controlled it STILL WORKED. It was JUST the FUCKIN' MIRROR.

Now they're saying that everything to the FUCKIN' AIR BAGS don't work.

FUCKIN' BASTARDS! I'M GONNA GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS! I'M NOT PAYING FOR THE SHIT THAT YOU FUCKED UP!

So yeah...I'm ready...so ready...but not...DX I still have the Phoenix Wright and Gurren Laagan badge sets to make (not to mention that I already screwed up on Apollo, so I won't be selling him)

I really really hope AWA gives lanyards for free with the registration badges like they did last year, because they were craptons better than these craptasticallycrappy lanyards I bought with my badge holders (they're the stupid ones you have to push in the metal link to get it in the hole, rather than the easy clip-on ones...V_V; )

But yeah. I've got REGISTRATION, HOTEL, AND TRANSPORTATION DOWN, BABY (oh and AA too, thanks to Shadi!)! I was so fuckin' prepared for this con, you don't even know! D:< It really helps when I've had the experience as a con Nazi, since I took care of things like that for the anime club back at my high school. It's good to know that I'm at least responsible for my hobbies. XDDD;

So yeah, it's a risk that I'm not selling chibis, but seriously...I tried to draw them...BUT I FUCKIN' HATE CHIBIS. I can't draw them, and nor will I to satisfying this stupid desu kawaii crowd. I have done fanart, and I think that's enough. >_>

I really hope people like my stuff though...esp. my originals, because yeah, I'm not effinshinydesu, but I still have that anime-esque style...so...yeah...

And and! I need to make sure that I actually ATTEND some events this time V_V; Last year, I just hung around the artist alley the WHOLE WEEKEND...and I wasn't even one of the artist ppl...>_>; (though it was amazing because I was able to find old friends and make new friends, in which I'm SO GLAD I've made, because I'll be sitting with them this year! XDDD)

Hmm...but yeah...that's all on my mind for AWA right now. X3

Like. srsly.

I was just looking through a list of anime released in 2007 and 2008 in Japan, and looking through summaries and artwork...just none of them interest me. Those that I have tried to start, after the first or second episode, I stop watching and usually forget about it, because it was so uninteresting. 

I dunno. Am I just not giving these anime a chance, or am I actually right? Is anime really going downhill and is just not original anymore? I know that there's anything hardly original these days, only because of the times, but there is still storytelling technique and the mixing of genre's still left. What I mean is that if the story itself is not really "original," there's other methods in making it seem more of it's own thing. 

I can't even remember the last GOOD anime I saw last. A lot of the anime I watch these days, I watch and forget about it. Lemme see if I can remember some of the things I watched, but never pushed to continue...

Library Wars-The art and animation is good, but the story...I dunno...I find it to be a weird (and a bit silly) concept. Fighting over books? Besides, I think a darker and deeper mood would fit this storyline rather than the light and happy mood that this anime shows (for example, Kino's Journey had an episode about books, but the concept was much more interesting than Library Wars)

Persona~Trinity Soul~ -Again, the art and animation was decent, and I dunno, I thought I'd give it a chance. But it failed. The concept of some spirit mech thing living inside you is WAY too overused (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure uses this concept, but the technique in the storytelling is FAR more interesting and the battles are cleverly thought out). And the characters are VERY boring and flat.

Dragonaut-The Resonance-So I thought that because it was done by the same animators that did the Witchblade anime, I thought this would be good too. Nope, boring. Again, the characters are very flat, nothing unique about them. 

Hell Girl-I had better expectations of this anime, but it was just too emo and flat for me. Sorry, but emo shoujo is way too overdone. 

Real Drive-I just saw the first episode. I dunno...It sounded interesting from the plot...but really...panty shots? Big breasted CEOs??? I really don't need the fanservice in a could-have-been-good storyline.

and there's a shit ton others that I just can't remember because they sucked so bad. 

Okay, so how about anime that I think is overrated? I'll have to summarize a bit.

First off, any anime that is moe, shounen-ai, etc. 

Seriously. I don't get what the hype is about The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star. I have watched several episodes of these anime. They bored me to DEATH! If slice of life anime didn't already bore me, these were pretty ridiculous. They have no substance, they're otaku-driven, and guh...moe...ew. With an anime along these lines, I would much prefer Azumanga Daioh, which is funnier and less otaku.

Shounen-ai, yaoi, whatever you prefer to call it. It's just SUCKS. I used to like it when it actually had a PLOTLINE and the boys weren't acting like chicks. Junjou Romantica. I'm seeing it everywhere. But after watching a few episodes? It's just a regular, stupid shounen-ai, fan-pleasing anime. I don't wanna have to see the guy jumping on the other guy in EVERY FRACKIN' EPISODE. It's even worse than Gravitation. I like such anime/manga like FAKE, because it actually had a plot (the detective-like stories were fun X3), and it had awesome comedy in it, and it had the guy on guy love. Dude, even its english dubbing was awesome. 8)

I really think anime companies are getting a lot of pressure...or willing to bend under it lately. A lot of anime seems too...otaku. For example...Death Note. I LOVE Death Note. It's concept is very interesting. I read the manga from beginning to end. Then...the anime came out. At first I didn't watch it (b/c it was a bit hard going through manga...it's a lot to contain roftl). So apparently fangirls like it b/c of the omgkawaiidesu Raito and L 4ever! WHAT THE FUCK. Death Note is not YAOI. It never was YAOI. For the love of GOD, don't ruin a good thing you STUPID FANGIRLS. The anime has SO MUCH fan influence in it. Scenes that were not in the manga appeared in the anime, only scenes that satisfied fangirl desires. I watched a scene with Raito and L (yes, the foot washing scene). As far as I recall, that scene was never there, but really...Raito didn't have to wipe the water from L's bangs and do random sweet talking. This was too much fanservice for the audience, and Death Note is not like that.

So much more to complain about, but I think I'll leave it there. V_V

Anyway...so yeah, today I got something I didn't expect to get. Like seriously. I got a lot of gift money today from my uncle, and wow, I almost died. I was thankful, but guilty at the same time. ^^' Goodness. After all my complaints about not having money, now I do!

But that's not going to mean I'm going to spend it all like crazy. I'm still spending what I originally planned for AWA, and mmm...I might let the knee boots slip. ^^' Otherwise, now I have enough for AWA and enough for some extra fun. ^^' The rest I'm going to save and keep until I can find a job. DX

So yeah I'm working on character badge set of Bleach (I'm doing the bad guys lol, those Espada or Arrancar, whateveryoucallums). Then I'll do a Naruto set (doing the Akatsuki) and some others. Sad, b/c I don't really like these series', but the fans demand them, so if I'm going to get any money, I'll get it that way.

The good thing is that I'm spending less for my products than how much I'm actually going to put out, so if some of my originals sell then I should some profit. ^^' 

Hmm...I guess that's all. XD
